The service

We provide kitchen remodeling services across the Kansas City metro: consultation, estimating, project planning and coordination. Installation and trade work — carpentry, plumbing, electrical, mechanical — is carried out by licensed local contracting partners, and the written contract for any project states who performs each part of the work and who warrants it. Nothing proceeds without that contract, and estimates are free.

Licensing

Contractor licensing in this metro is set city by city, and the contract for your project identifies the licence under which each part of the work is done. Every authority here runs a public register; our area pages link to each one, and we encourage you to use them — for us and for anyone else you talk to.

Information on these pages is general

Permit thresholds, licensing requirements and statutory rules described on our pages are summaries, current when written and simplified for a general reader. They are not legal advice and not a substitute for the city or agency that sets them. Confirm anything that affects a real project with the office that issues the permit, and speak to an attorney about contract or lien questions.

Cost figures

Any cost range shown on our pages is typical published data, attributed to its source. It is not a quote. What your project costs is set out in your written estimate and contract, and nowhere else.

Accuracy and changes

Rules change and errors are possible. We correct pages when a mistake is found, and reports through the contact page are genuinely useful.

Limitation

These pages are provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on the general information published here. Responsibility for contracted work is defined in the contract for that work, not by this page.
